December I&A Update:
State Legislators Consider Bills on Technology and Data
The MA Joint Committee on Education met on October 30, 2023 to hold a hearing on bills that included technology and data. These included:
- H.530/S.343 An Act establishing an education-to-career data center
- S.316 An Act relative to best management practices for wireless in schools and public institutions of higher education
- H.532/S.280 An Act relative to student and educator data privacy
- H.609 An Act to expand virtual school eligibility for school choice students
