Join us to discover all the applications in the Office 365 suite of tools. We will dive deeply into the One Note, Teams and SWAY applications. Please bring your devices as this will be a hands-on interactive session.
Morning session:
We will build a One Note personal digital notebook, and dig deeply into how it can be used effectively in the classroom to meet the needs of English Language Learners and Special Education students. You will also get the opportunity to discover Microsoft’s new Teams application.
Afternoon session:
You will get the opportunity to flip your classroom and make your lessons more interactive using MIX. It will also allow you to embed, implement and address formative and summative assessments seamlessly. In addition, it assists you in meeting the needs of English Language Learners and students needing accommodations. You will also get the opportunity to create a presentation using one of Microsoft’s newest tools called SWAY.

John Nguyen has over 12 years experience in school districts throughout TX and MA. In those years, John served as a Teacher, Science Specialist, Alternative Certification Officer, Assistant Principal, and Principal. John is passionate about augmenting student achievement via STEM learning and technology implementation. As a result, he’s passionate about serving as the Microsoft Learning Consultant for the New England area.
