MassCUE is pleased to offer a book study for the newly published Inclusive Learning 365: Edtech Strategies for Every Day of the Year! Inclusive Learning 365 aims to provide educators with a variety of inclusive strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including those with learning variabilities or who are second-language learners. Learn how to adopt an inclusive learning mindset and replace traditional instructional methods with strategies that engage all learners.
Participants of this book study will participate in an introductory kick off with one of the four authors of this book, Karen Janowski. During this live, virtual meeting, Karen will introduce the inclusive philosophy promoted in the book and facilitate discussion among participants about adopting an inclusive mindset and implementing inclusive strategies to reach all learners.
Educators will then be expected to read the text, implement several strategies into their current practice and bring this information to the follow up, live 45 minute meeting also hosted by Karen.
Topics for discussion include:
- Adopting an Inclusive Mindset
- Changing language to become more inclusive
- Reflecting on current instructional methods
- Explore inclusive strategies targeting reading, writing, STEAM, social-emotional learning and executive function skills and connect to ISTE standards
