Learning Tour Overview
Come and see how the Easton Middle School developed a student-centered “classroom of the future.” We will show you how we re-invented an out-dated computer lab within the media center to make it an innovative, collaborative learning space. The planning, pitfalls, technology, furniture, classroom management, and funding will be discussed. See how overhauling an outdated computer lab not only changed the way the school looked, it sparked student engagement and completely changed the way teachers planned their lessons. After the discussion and tour of the space, teacher and student examples of projects will be shown. You will have the opportunity to try out the equipment and see the Think Tank in action.
