MassCUE’s Influence & Advocacy Committee had the privilege of participating in ISTE/COSN coordinated advocacy sessions. These included meetings related to the importance of addressing the homework gap and potential funding to support home connectivity and take-home devices for students. We were thrilled to learn that the FCC passed the Emergency Connectivity Fund which will provide over $7B in funding for schools. The EFC is administered through the existing E-Rate structure. If you are a school district interested in learning more about what is covered and how to apply for these funds for your district, consider joining a free webinar on May 27th at 1:00pm.
