MassCUE is governed by a team of passionate volunteers who drive the organization’s mission to educate, connect, and inspire educators across the commonwealth.
The MassCUE Board of Directors is made up of educators with a strong interest in digital teaching and learning. This group of volunteers brings a variety of skills and expertise to MassCUE and plays a key role in the organization’s strategic direction. They are innovators, thought leaders and community connectors. Above all, they are committed to MassCUE’s mission to educate, connect, and inspire educators across the commonwealth.

She is a professional mistake-maker and revels in learning alongside anyone who will have her. As the Digital Learning Manager for the Collaborative for Educational Services (CES), Casey spends a lot of time exploring how we invite connection and imagination through technology. Her expertise centers on program development, instructional design, changemanagement, and facilitation.
She is an ISTE Certification Authorized Provider, ISTE Certified Educator, Google Certified Trainer, and whimsical weirdo.
Why is she here? Because she’s eager to build futures in which people control their own attention and encounter belonging in every space they enter. Aren’t schools the perfect place to seed these futures?

Kim Keith
Board Secretary 2023-2025, Awards and Recognition Committee ChairKim is a retired Library/Media Specialist. Kim received her undergraduate degree from Westfield State University and her Masters in Library and Information Studies at the University of Rhode Island. She worked in the Dennis Yarmouth Public Schools for 11 years and in the Barnstable Public Schools for 20 years.

Board Member, Appointed, 2023-2025, COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE CHAIR, Finance Committee Member, MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE MEMBEREddie Chen is a District Technology Coach for the Worcester Public Schools. Prior to this position, he taught 7th grade science for 4 years at Worcester East Middle School. Eddie is passionate about bringing citizen science and experiential learning into the classroom. Similarly, he strives to integrate technology use to enhance learning and remove barriers to increasing science literacy. His background in community organizing with environmental nonprofits influences his work supporting caregiver and educators through data informed decision making.
Eddie earned his undergraduate degrees from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and a Masters of Arts in Teaching at Clark University.
He is an avid native plant gardener and naturalist.

BOARD MEMBER, APPOINTED, 2023-2025, GRANTS COMMITTEE CO-CHAIR, FALL CONFERENCE COMMITTEE MEMBER, STRATEGIC PLANNING COMMITTEE MEMBERChris Gosselin brings a wealth of experience to his role as Director of Instructional Technology and Innovation in the Needham Public Schools (MA). Throughout his career, he has served as an Assistant Principal, Digital Learning Coach, Media Specialist, and English Language Arts teacher, working with students across all grade levels (PreK-12).
Chris earned his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Saint Michael’s College (Burlington, VT), his Master of Arts in Teaching from Simmons University (Boston, MA) and his Master of Educational Leadership & Organizational Management from Endicott College (Educator Leadership Institute through the EDCO Collaborative). Chris currently serves as an instructor in this program.
As a classroom teacher, Chris pioneered the use of 1:1 devices, fostering student engagement through innovative and student-centered learning practices. As a digital learning coach, he collaborated with school leaders to implement effective instructional strategies across diverse disciplines in elementary schools. As a school leader, Chris worked with and led a variety of teams to provide relevant and supportive services for students and embraced innovative professional development to help teachers grow. Now, as a district leader, his focus is on empowering teachers to adopt high-impact, innovative instructional practices aligned with a district vision and framework for learning. Notably, Chris’s recent work explores the potential of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) in K-12 education and school leadership.
Chris’s passion for digital learning, literacy, student voice, and engagement extends beyond his district. His presentations and writing on these topics have been featured on educational platforms like Edutopia and ISTE.org. Chris is a past-President of the MassCUE Board of Directors (2020-2023) and still serves on the Board, co-chairing the Grants Committee and as a member of the Fall Conference Planning team. He has presented widely throughout New England at various conferences including MassCUE Fall & Spring, MSAA Summer Institute, Medfield DesignYourLearning Day, the Blue Ribbon Schools Conference, plus many more.

Her work as an instructional technologist began with a degree from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York and continued with her doctoral studies at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Sanaea Simmons
Board Member, Appointed, 2023-2025, Grants Committee Member, MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE MEMBERSanaea Simmons is a dedicated educator and board member of MassCUE, where she serves on the Grants, Spring Conference, and Membership Committee. She is a recent graduate of the College of the Holy Cross where she earned a BA in History. During her undergraduate studies, she completed her preservice teaching at South High Community School in Worcester, Massachusetts, gaining valuable classroom experience. Sanaea is currently pursuing a master’s degree at PennGSE in the Independent School Teaching Residency program. She teaches US and World History at the Loomis Chaffee School.
Passionate about integrating technology in education, Sanaea is eager to expand educational technology initiatives to preservice teachers. She aims to enhance the impact of MassCUE across colleges and universities in Massachusetts, advocating for digital equity and innovative teaching practices. Her work on the board reflects her commitment to connecting and inspiring young educators.

Danielle Klingaman, Ed.D.
ADVISOR TO THE BOARDDr. Klingaman is currently the Superintendent of Schools for the Duxbury Public School district. Dr. Klingaman began her professional career working with adolescents with mental health and behavioral challenges in a residential treatment program and later worked as a special education teacher in the Wrentham Public School district before beginning her successful 18-year career in school administration. Dr. Klingaman served as the Assistant Principal of Central Elementary School in East Bridgewater, the Principal of L.G. Nourse Elementary School in Norton, the Principal of Joseph W. Martin, Jr. Elementary School in North Attleboro, and Assistant Superintendent of Schools for Duxbury Public Schools. Dr. Klingaman holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Northeastern University, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Bridgewater State University, a Post-Baccalaureate Degree in Special Education from Bridgewater State University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Dr. Klingaman previously served on the MassCUE Board of Directors as well as the Principals’ Advisory Cabinet for the Department of Secondary and Elementary Education (DESE). Dr. Klingaman was a member of the DESE development team that wrote and developed tools for The Inclusive Practices Guidebook. Dr. Klingaman’s doctoral research focused on school culture, change theory, and effective leadership practices. She has led teacher and administrator professional development and coursework in curriculum, pedagogy, and technology integration.
Dr. Klingaman lives in Attleboro with her husband and two children.

Advisor to the Board, Past PresidentAlan November is an international leader in education technology. He began his career as an oceanography teacher and dorm counselor at an island reform school for boys in Boston Harbor. He has been director of an alternative high school, computer coordinator, technology consultant, and university lecturer. He has helped schools, governments and industry leaders improve the quality of education through technology.
Audiences enjoy Alan’s humor and wit as he pushes the boundaries of how to improve teaching and learning. His areas of expertise include planning across curriculum, staff development, new school design, community building and leadership development. He has delivered keynotes and workshops in all fifty states, across Canada, and throughout the UK, Europe, Asia and Central America.
Alan was named one of the nation’s fifteen most influential thinkers of the decade by Tech and Learning magazine. His writing includes numerous articles and best-selling books. Alan’s most recent book “Who Owns the Learning?” is on the New York Times education best sellers list for 2013. Alan was co-founder of the Stanford Institute for Educational Leadership Through Technology and is most proud of being selected as one of the original five national Christa McAuliffe Educators.
Each summer Alan leads the Building Learning Communities summer conference with world-class presenters and educators from more than 25 countries.
