What an Honor it is…
Every year when the MassCUE Conference rolls along in October, members of the Awards Committee are busy preparing to award some education professionals with a MassCUE Administrator Award or a MassCUE Pathfinder Award. After reviewing the award applications and voting on the chosen applicants, the honored recipients are informed. The Awards Committee publishes the biographies and photos of the winners, and ultimately the awards are presented at the Conference.
One Administrator Award is presented to a Massachusetts administrator in recognition for visionary leadership in the field of education technology. The Administrator’s efforts have gone “above and beyond” in providing inspiration to other administrators and educators.
Pathfinder Awards are presented to Massachusetts educators or leaders whose efforts have greatly enhanced the field of educational technology. The recipients could be a teacher, a principal, a technology director, a curriculum coordinator.
What an honor for these recipients. I know I am partial to the MassCUE board having been a Board member for the last 2-1/2 years, but the Board is made up of hard-working, dedicated members who are investing their time to move educational technology forward in the State of Massachusetts. To be honored by this group — well, I just cannot think of anything better in the world of technology.
Congratulations to the following award recipients for 2016:
Receiving the Administrator Award will be Amy Berdos, Ed.D. Receiving the Pathfinder Awards will be Kerry Gallagher, Martin R. Geoghegan, Jennifer Judkins, and Karen Winsper.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL.
Julia Colby, Award Committee Co-Chair
