This SIG will explore ways of utilizing computers in the classroom so that academic concepts being taught are developed and reinforced. Our topics of discussion, demonstration, & sharing will be generated from the needs within our group, community, and the latest developments within the computer field and education.

Directions:
From Fall River area: Take RT 24 N to Exit 12B, MA-140 N toward Taunton about 3 miles to the Taunton Green. At the Taunton Green take about a quarter turn around to Court St/ MA-140 on the right, at the end of court street take a left and follow MA-140 about a third of a mile to Tremont St. (full set of lights). Take a right onto Tremont St./MA-140 follow for about 1.5 miles. (You’ll see a trailer park on the right and as you make the bend you will take the Right turn onto Norton Ave, travel for a little less than a mile past the Taunton Nursing Home (on the left) you will see playing fields, tennis court and a stone wall sign: Oakland Educational & Community Complex. Take that left to the main entrance of Friedman Middle School.

From Foxboro area: Take I-495 S, Take EXIT 9, BAY ST INDUST. PK. RD. / TAUNTON, Turn RIGHT onto INDUSTRIAL PARK RD (3/10 mile), INDUSTRIAL PARK RD becomes MYLES STANDISH BLVD. (travel 2.4 miles), Turn LEFT onto CRANE AVE S. (1.5 miles), bear right onto NORTON AVE (1/10mile.) on the right you will see a tennis court and a stone wall sign: Oakland Educational & Community Complex. Take that right to the main entrance of Friedman Middle School.

From Bridgewater area: Take MA-24 S toward I-495 / FALL RIVER. Merge onto I-495 N via EXIT 14B toward WORCESTER, Take the BAY STREET EXIT 9- toward INDUST. PK. RD. / TAUNTON., Turn LEFT onto BAY ST., Turn RIGHT onto INDUSTRIAL PARK RD., INDUSTRIAL PARK RD becomes MYLES STANDISH BLVD., (travel 2.4 miles), Turn LEFT onto CRANE AVE S. Take that left to the main entrance of Friedman Middle School.
