Location: Nauset Regional Middle School, 70 Route 28, Orleans MA; Computer

Directions: Route 6 East to Exit 12. Bear right off of the ramp onto Route
6A. Take the first right, at the light, onto Eldredge Park Way. Continue
on Eldredge Park Way for 8/10 miles, until the light at Route 28. Turn
left onto Route 28. (South Orleans Road) Nauset Regional Middle School is
on the left. Please come in the front door and obtain a pass.

Time: Noon until 2:30pm

Topic: Second Life and Lighthouse Learning Island

The CCSTF SIG is new to MassCUE but has been a working group of
southeastern Massachusetts ed-tech directors for over nine years,
meeting on a regular basis to discuss items of interest to all of us, as
well as having a vendor present for an hour. This school year, with the
purchase of Lighthouse Learning Island in Second Life by Nauset,
Barnstable, Dennis-Yarmouth, and Plymouth, a portion of each meeting will
be dedicated to planning the professional development
we are going to offer in Second Life. (To receive notices of the
professional development, please join the “K-12 Educators” group in Second
Life.) This first meeting will be devoted to planning for our Second Life
presence. We may or may not be in Second Life at this meeting.
