Each spring MassCUE holds its elections. This spring, we will fill four board positions for two year terms. MassCUE Board members determine the type and direction of MassCUE’s activities throughout the year and provide the leadership behind the many great events and resources available to members. Please take the time to reflect upon what MassCUE means to you and whom you want to represent you on the MassCUE Board.
Nominations may be made by self-nomination, nomination by another member, or nomination by the elections committee.
Newly elected Governing Board members will serve as full voting members alongside outgoing Governing Board members for the first six months after election to ensure a smooth transition. (2 ½ year term; May 2010-November 2012; during May 2010-November 2012 the newly elected board members will work with the existing board members.)
January 9-January 31: Submission of nomination papers (See submission info below). Nomination Papers must arrive on or before January 31, 2010.
March: Statement and instructions for voting will be published in the electronic newsletter (voting will be done via the website and email).
Voting to take place from Sunday, April 11, 2010 through Saturday April 17, 2010.
Winners will be notified within one week of voting closure and made public via website and next membership electronic newsletter.
Submission of nomination papers may be made via email or mail. Nominations and background statements should be directed to the Election Committee.
